The First Vice-Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov, together with the Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev and the Head of Administration of Yekaterinburg Aleksandr Yakob, visited the Solnechnyi residential district under construction.

During the visit Sergey Miamin, First Deputy General Director of Forum Group, presented to the visitors the key aspects of the project and the benefits provided to the investors by the integrated territory development business model.  Today the Solnechnyi district is being developed by a number of well-known Ural companies: Sinara-Development, Brusnika Yekaterinburg, Viktoria Group, Astra Group, as well as the land developer of the project - Forum Group holding company.

Among other things the Vice-Prime Minister was shown various layouts of the apartments. He appreciated the high quality of the infrastructure solutions used. Igor Shuvalov also observed that in spite of an affordable price the housing accommodations in the district were rather of the “standard” grade. E.g. the houses are provided with spacious and comfortable entrance halls, and the private building surrounding grounds are big and well-attended. The ground floors of the buildings in the district have spaces for infrastructure facilities – stores, coffee bars, pharmacies, and fitness centers. Igor Shuvalov visited one of the multiples of the local chain in the first residential quarter of Solnechnyi.

The new Solnechnyi residential district in the south of Yekaterinburg is one of the major projects of the city territory development, its area amounting to 362 hectares. During the next ten years about 2.5 million sq. m. of residential premises, as well as social infrastructure, shopping and sport facilities will be built there.
