The Ice Arena in Kirovogradskaya Street is an opportunity for children to engage in all kinds of ice sports.

Sport is one of vital elements of children’s healthy development. On March 14, 2018, the first Ice Arena in the Ordzhonikidzevskiy District was opened. Here children are provided with opportunities to engage in ice hockey, figure skating, and short track. The Ice Arena includes: an ice field (28x58 meters), on-site administration and utility complex that includes four changing rooms with sanitary facilities, coach room, first-aid room, and utility rooms. Each changing room is designed for 20-25 sportsmen.

Now 320-400 young sportsmen a day visit the Ice Arena.

The construction of the Arena is a part of a large program of UMMC-Holding, in which at least 20 facilities of such type will be built all over the region. Forum-Group Company is the ideologist and developer of this project. The developer has already gained a wealth of experience in the construction of professional sports facilities.

The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Evgeny Kuyvashev, the Head of the the Ekaterinburg City Administration Aleksandr Yakob, the Director General of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZAO (JSC) Forum Group and the President of the Ice Hockey Federation of the Sverdlovk Oblast Oleg Cherepanov participated in the grand opening of the Ice Arena.

The Ice Arena is located in Ekaterinburg, the Ordzhonikidzevsky District, 30a Kirovgradskaya Street, on the territory of Children and Youth Sports School No. 19.
