The First Ural Outlet to Be Presented in Cannes

22 november 2016

MAPIC 2016, the largest international retail property trade show annually held in Cannes, has been opened this week. At the exhibition, FORUM GROUP is presenting its project of Outlet Yekaterinburg Solnechnyi.

It will be the first and only professional outlet center in the city.  The opening date is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018.

Outlet is a shopping center where clothing and shoes of different brands of past seasons are sold with discounts of 30-70% throughout the year (do not confuse them with closeout stores).

Yekaterinburg will become the third city in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg to launch an outlet center.

The total area of the shopping complex will amount to 17,000 square meters. The building project was designed by AHR, a Polish architectural bureau. MAGAZIN MAGAZINOV will act as an exclusive brokerage agent of the center.  It is expected that manufacturers of well-known clothing brands will make up around 70% of tenants, and producers of leisure goods, shoes, and food will amount to 10% each.

The outlet center will be located inside the Yekaterinburg Automobile Ring Road (EKAD), at the intersection of EKAD and Luchistaya Street, near the Solnechnyi district, a new residential area. It will take 15 minutes to get from the city center to the outlet by car. It will also be possible to get there by public transport (a bus stop is planned next to the outlet entrance).
